Crop Marks	Tiling
Print Guides
Crop Marks: Lines printed in the margin of sheet which indicate to the printer and bindery where the finished product should be trimmed. They are also used to show what part of a photo should be used and what part should be cropped off. Tiling: When a page is too large to output all at one time, the page is divided into two sections that allow an overlap area so that the two can be assembled into one. Print Guides: Usually horizontal and/or vertical lines provided by several Adobe applications which aid the user in lining and correctly placing objects in relation to another. Please be sure to hide these guides in your submitted file to reduce confusion in case you do not wish these lines to appear on your print out.

Please Note: If you are submitting a double-sided print job and cannot get both files into one file, please do not select the Web Upload file submission method. When you arrive at the lab with your files, we can show you how to combine files into one single Adobe PDF file for future reference.

If you need to upload a file of a different type, please choose the email option to email your file to cfalab@bu.edu, and we will promptly add support for your file type.

After submitting the print job by clicking the "Submit Print Request" button below, you must wait for the confirmation page to appear before closing your browser. This may take a very long time if your file is large, and/or if you are on a slow connection (anything not on BU's campus).
