The CFA Information Technology Office provides all technology-related services, consultation, and support in conjunction with other central BU information technology departments for 200 faculty, staff and student employees, and over 1,700 students in the CFA community, located in five different physical locations around the BU campus throughout the year.

There are 270 office computers, 70 printers, 9 file, application, database and Web servers, 12 Web sites, 2 computing labs, hundreds of other peripheral devices, and personal computers for academic-related use that CFA ITO maintains and supports. In 2007, CFA ITO received over 1,800 questions, requests, and support issues from outside of the main computing lab. In addition to the thousands of questions fielded in the main computing lab, over 2,400 professional-quality inkjet print job requests were completed as specifically and uniquely requested by customers.

CFA ITO is staffed by a team comprised of 1 full-time professional staff member and 28 students during the regular academic year.
