The CFA Information Technology Office provides all technology-related services, consultation and support in conjunction with other central BU information technology departments for 200 faculty, staff and student employees, and over 1,700 students in the CFA community, located in five different physical locations around the BU campus throughout the year.
There are 260 office computers, 60 printers, 12 file, application, database and Web servers, 12 Web sites, 2 computing labs, hundreds of other peripheral devices, and personal computers for academic-related use that CFA ITO maintains and supports. In 2007 CFA ITO received over 1,800 questions, requests and support issues from outside of the main computing lab. In addition to the thousands of questions fielded in the main computing lab, over 2,400 professional-quality inkjet print job requests were completed as specifically and uniquely requested by customers.
CFA ITO is staffed by a team comprised of 1 full-time professional staff member and 22 students during the regular academic year.

Important Annoucements For July 23, 2008
+ Summer Intersession Hours The CFA Computer Lab & CFA Information Technology Office will have the following hours for the summer intersession period beginning Friday, August 8 through Tuesday, September 2:
- Friday, August 8: 8:00AM to 5:00PM*
- Beginning Saturday, August 9 through Sunday, August 31, hours will be from 9:00AM to 5:00PM* Monday through Friday and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Monday, September 1: 12:00PM to 4:00PM
- Tuesday, September 2: 8:30AM to 6:00PM, 9:00PM to 10:00PM*
(*) Lab will close up to one hour early if not in use.
+ CFA ITO Staff Training - Friday, September 5 The CFA Computer Lab & CFA Information Technology Office will be closed on Friday, September 5 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM for CFA ITO staff training.
