The CFA Information Technology Office provides all technology-related services, consultation, and support in conjunction with other central BU information technology departments for 200 faculty, staff and student employees, and over 1,700 students in the CFA community, located in five different physical locations around the BU campus throughout the year.

There are 300 office computers, 90 printers, 6 file, application, database and Web servers, multiple Web sites, 1 computing lab, and hundreds of other personal computers and mobile devices for academic-related use that CFA ITO maintains and supports. In the 2008-09 academic year, CFA ITO received over 2,400 questions, requests, and support issues from outside of the main computing lab. In addition to the thousands of questions fielded in the main computing lab, over 2,400 professional-quality inkjet print job requests were completed as specifically and uniquely requested by customers.

CFA ITO is staffed by a team comprised of 1 full-time professional staff member and 25 students during the regular academic year.
